22-The serpent in the garden-A Satan possessed snake

In the garden account the idea of a serpent speaking to Eve sounds unbelievable but we learn in the Bible that demon spirits enter into humans and we read in the Bible in one case they went into pigs, so we know demons can enter into living beings.

How else was Satan to appear to the woman but to inhabit a living creature and he chose the serpent.

In the Revelation Satan is referred to as the Dragon.  The garden was a unique place where no other humans inhabited except for Adam and Eve who God created so Satan’s only alternative was to inhabit a non human living creature.   Notice that the woman had no fear of the snake and this was because she was in her pre DNA changed state and didn’t feel fear until after they ate the fruit.

The tree of the life gives man’s body eternal life. In the garden Adam existed with God in the same state that we will exist once we die and get our resurrected body’s. But, when Adam ate of the forbidden tree he made his body corruptible and it became corrupt with sin. This sin gave him a knowledge into evil that he did not have before because now he was corrupt and defiled. Horror of horrors once man ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, God did not want him to eat of the tree of life because that would have made his sinful self an eternal being who would never die the death that he must die. It would have reprogrammed the DNA so that he would live forever but in a corrupted state.
Since the DNA of man and woman was changed and their father was now the devil, there would need to be a new birth in Christ, with his sacrifice for our sins, to redeem us from death.

Genesis 3:22 Then the Lord God said, behold the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now lest he put out his hand and also take of the tree of life, and eat and live forever. Satan changed the DNA of humans and imparted his seed via the fruit of the tree that Adam and Eve ate.
