This report establishes that the technology god of the end times is predicted in Daniel 11:38-39, which reads:
38 But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. 39 Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain.
I have already elaborated established regarding this verse how technology is a newer god, which is why in this passage it is referred to as “a god which his fathers did not know.” The Antichrist will “advance its glory,” because this god advances him and allows him to enact his police state and so much more. This is why the verse reads, “and he shall cause them to rule over many.” The word used for rule in the original language means cause to rule, to give dominion.
The word for fortresses, or forces used in verse 38–within the phrase god of fortresses– is not the usual word used for forces, which means: strength, power, might or armies, ability or efficiency. We automatically would think of an army or a fortress, but rather the word used for forces is a word used meaning: a place of safety, protection, stronghold, and it is a word used for God Himself as our refuge and strength. Psalm 31:2 states, “Be though my strong rock,” with strong being the same word that is used in Daniel 11:38-39. Psalm 28:8 reads, “The LORD is their strength and he is the saving strength of his anointed.” With strength of his anointed using the same word as is used in Daniel 11:38-39. Thus the god of fortresses offers God like protection, or a God like quality, which can be said of the technology used for a police state.
