Key Mark of the Beast Passage in Bible Prophecy
The key Mark of the Beast passage is Revelation Chapter 13.  All other Bible verses in both the Old and New Testament provide additional information that builds upon this passage.
In this chapter we learn that a Beast rises from the sea and this is the empire that the Antichrist leads.  Its seven heads, ten horns, resemblance to a leopard, feet of a bear, and mouth of a lion compare to the Beast described in the book of Daniel.   The ten horns are ten kings, which the book of Daniel also identified and this gives us a view to the empire’s institutional structure.  The book of Daniel gives us a time frame of 42 months and we see the same time span here in Revelation Chapter 13. This is the second half of the Tribulation known as the Great Tribulation.

The Antichrist will receive a head wound and come back to life and it is at this time that Satan enters his body and he goes into the holy of holies in the Jewish temple- that is going to be rebuilt- and declares that he is god.  He places an abominable thing in the holy of holies, which will most likely be his cloned image, which will be discussed in detail in this report. It is at this time the Antichrist institutes his mark on all people, via technology and he initiates the ultimate police state.

I have established in my book, The Seat of the Antichrist: Bible Prophecy and the European Union that the EU is the Beast of Revelation that will launch the Antichrist.

Revelation  Chapter 13 reads:
13 Then I[a] stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns,[b] and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue[c] for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe,[d] tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those[e] who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or[f] the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

The passage begins with describing the government of the beast and transitions to the person also called the beast. Satan’s dominion over both the Antichrist and his empire is established and also presents the leading entity in the Unholy Trinity. From there we learn of his fatal wound, which Zechariah 11:17 tells us will leave his right eye blinded and his arm paralyzed. The Bible informs us of the  Antichrist’s resurrection, his establishing that he is a deity, and his war with the Saints. In this chapter we see the appearance of the third member of the unholy trinity, his miracles and his commissioning the making of the image of the Beast, His power to give the breath of life to the image and then the decree that all who do not worship the image of the beast will be put to death and simultaneously with this worship he causes all to take the name of the beast or number of the beast’s name.  The passage then concludes with the Bible’s most mysterious and frightening riddle to count the number of the name of the beast and the number of the man is 666.
