The Bible: God’s Word

The Bible is the inerrant, infallible, inspired preserved word of God It is both literal and figurative in its language.  Hence this includes the creation and all Old and New Testament accounts.  These include the description of the world’s end as literal and imagery.  And also the figurative language used in teachings and prophetic forecasts. The Bible is the authoritative source of doctrine and teachings.  It declare God’s design and plan for mankind.

The One True God

The God of the Bible reigns as the one true God, the creator and supreme ruler of Heaven and Earth. Gen. 17:1; Ps. 83:18; Jer. 10:10

The Trinity

God has a triune nature-3 persons in one- referred to as the Trinity. The Trinity is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father is the first person of the Trinity. The Lord Jesus Christ comprises the second person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit comprises the third person of the Trinity.

Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ reigns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  Concieved by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary He came to earth possessing two natures : God and man; essentially God indwelling flesh.

Jesus: the Lamb of God

He lived a life without sin and gave Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice (sacrificial lamb of God) for the sins of all men. For without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins (Hebrews 9:22).Jesus arose bodily from the grave. He ascended into Heaven. He sits on the right hand of God. Jesus intercedes for all believers. He will return to the earth in keeping with His promises and the fulfillment of the prophetic word.

The Fall of Man

God created man in his image, and after His likeness. He intended man to have fellowship with God. The direct fellowship ended when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden. They sinned by disobeying God. They disobediently ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The sin caused Adam to fall from his original state. Hence he became corrupted in nature both spiritually and physically and ushered in Death. From that moment man came under condemnation. The sentence of death passed onto all men and women born to Adam and Eve. They were now born with sin natures. When Satan tempted Eve and she and Adam disobeyed God; the battle of the ages began.

Battle of the Ages

God created an innumerable number of beings known as angels. Many of these continue in their holy state and are the ministers of God.   Lucifer  (now known as Satan or the Devil) and many others rebelled against God. These fallen angels, though defeated in the cross of Christ, still continue to oppose God and His work.  They will ultimately be judged by God and cast into the Lake of Fire. There they will suffer everlasting punishment, which is their righteous due.

The Consequence of Sin

The consequence of sin is eternal death and separation from God.

Salvation

Each person can be saved and reconciled back to God only through the shed blood of Jesus. The only hope for man is to believe on Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died to take upon Himself the punishment for the sin of mankind. He attoned for man’s sins by shedding His own blood. Only by receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, man is redeemed by His blood. Therefore Death will not have power over him. In addition, he or she will follow Christ in the resurrection and live with Him in eternity.

Grace Not Works

Salvation is all of grace and not of works, through the death of Jesus Christ who shed his blood as the sacrificial lamb. He paid the redemptive price to atone for our sins. Jesus suffered the death penalty for man’s sin.  He imputed to man His righteousness thereby reconciling men and women to God . Man’s salvation is achieved by placing his or her personal faith in Jesus Christ, by repentance of sin and faith in Jesus alone as Savior. In the book of Joel and Romans it is as simple as calling upon the name of the Lord and being saved. Joel 2:32 , Romans 10:13

Born Again of the Spirit

Salvation includes becoming born again of the spirit. Upon receiving Christ the spiritual birth takes place. In the new birth the Holy Spirit seals, sanctifies, redeems and adopts tje believer to the family of God.  A believer cannot lose his or her salvation.  As the saying goes, “once saved always saved.” The power of God keeps the saved unto eternal salvation so that they never fall away or be lost. Jn. 5:24, 10:27-29; Rom. 8:35-39, Phil. 1;6 Jesus tells us that by their fruits you shall know them. Hence not everyone who claims to be a Christian is born again.

‘The Work of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit indwells all who are born again, conforming them to the likeness of Jesus Christ. This process completes in Heaven. He indwells them and produces in them the fruit of the Spirit. He calls individuals to Christian service and empowers and directs them in that service. Hence, the Holy Spirit works in the world today convincing men of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.

The Church

The Church (the Bride of Christ) is the Body of Christ and is composed of all those who through belief in Christ have been spiritually regenerated by the indwelling Holy Spirit. The Church-comprises of true believers from the day of Pentecost to the time of the rapture. The church is made up of both Jews and Gentiles. Therefore, these comprise His body and Christ is the head of it.

End Times

We are currently living in the end time also known as the end times, last days, which are the days that Jesus warned about in the Gospels, Timothy described and the prophet Daniel briefly described in the statement, “when the transgressors are come to the full.” Daniel 8:23, that occur just prior to the Rapture and lead to the start of the Tribulation.

Rapture of the Church

Jesus Christ will return to the earth; that the dead in Christ will rise first, then believers who are still living will be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air. His coming in the air to catch away His bride, the church, is the believers blessed hope. Bible Scholars refer to this as the imminent pre-tribulation, pre-millenial return of Christ (1 Cor. 15:51-53, Titus 2:14; 1 Thess, 4:16-17).

Tribulation

On  earth by Israel’s (Daniel’s) seventieth week follows the Rapture of the church. The book of Revelation and the books of the prophets foretells of this 7 year period of judgments.  The second half of the Tribulation begins with the abomination of desolation refered to by Jesus as the Great Tribulation.

Second Coming

Following the tribulation, Christ will return to the earth with His glorified saints to establish the millennial Kingdom. During the 1,000 years of peace and prosperity Satan will be bound and Christ will reign with a rod of iron. At the end of the Millennium Satan will be released for a short time. He will deceive many and lead them in final rebellion, but be destroyed with his armies. This millennial reign will bring the salvation of national Israel and the establishment of universal peace. the Lord returns to this world with the saints to sit on David’s throne and establish His Millennial Kingdom (Rev. 1:7, 19:11-21; II Thess. 1:7-10; Matt. 24:27-30; Zech. 14:4-5; Mal. 4:1-4)

The Great White Throne Judgment

After the millennial reign  a final judgment known as the Great White Throne Judgment, will take place for all who rejected Christ. The unsaved men and women of all ages will resurrect. Together they with the evil angels will be finally judged and condemned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire.  The saved of all ages in glorified bodies will enjoy everlasting blessing in the presence of God. We look forward to the New Heavens and Earth where we will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth. ‘And so shall we forever be the Lord!’

More on the Tribulation,  This author takes the view:

 Non literal Babylon

Babylon in prophecy is not talking about literal Babylon. but spiritual, symbolic Babylon and the comparison is figurative rather than literal.

Identity of Fourth Beast Roman Empire

The book of Daniel clearly depicts that the fourth beast is the revived Roman Empire and will rise from Europe rather than the Middle East.

Two Legs of Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream Image

The two legs of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream image do not represent countries in the Middle East. They represent the division of the beast’s kingdom itself into two legs: an inner core and outer core,(right left, left leg) with the inner core consisting of the Antichrist and his ten kings and the outer core or leg representing the remaining nations that come under the beast’s sphere.

The Antichrist’s Roots

The Antichrist is not Islamic, but rather he will be of Jewish ancestry. Jesus the Son of God (Messiah) rose from the tribe of Judah and the Antichrist as Jesus’s nemesis, the son of Satan will rise from the tribe of Dan. See my articles on the many Biblical contrasts and the battle of the ages.

Geopolitical Vs. Conspiracy theorist View

This author also refutes all conspiracy theories, finds no reference to any secret societies bringing about any of the fulfillment of the end time prophecies and takes the view that Bible Prophecy will be fulfilled via geopolitics and sequence of natural events that are God ordained that fulfill the prophetic word vs. conspiracies and or secret societies, which do not fit the description of how the Antichrist and his World empire comes to power.
