Evangelical Christians -Steve Bannon -Globalization
Evangelicals are unaware that in some of their actions and views they are fighting against Bible Prophecy’s fulfillment. That’s right, they endorse opinions, and political platforms with a heart to keep the prophetic word from happening. Mostly because these Evangelicals regard the predictions with such horror, they wrongly assume they must stand against all that might indicate its fulfillment. Such as their endorsing individuals like Steve Bannon, for his anti-globalist views.
Evangelical’s illogical, inconsistent and contradictory end time politics
Evangelicals embrace some political policies that aid in Bible Prophecy’s fulfillment while rejecting others. All evangelicals celebrate the forming of the nation Israel in 1948. This marked a major prophetic event in end time Bible Prophecy. Evangelicals support the nation Israel for several Biblical reasons. The focus here is the support of Israel because of its role in end time prophecy. The fact that we are seeing end time prophecy unfold before our eyes, excites us. In our politics we support the nation of Israel for all Biblical reasons including the future prophetic piece.
For the same reason in our end time politics we support the rebuilding of the Third Temple. We are not happy about the Islamic Mosque on the site of the Temple. We would like to see that in the hands of Israel. In addition, we would like to see the construction of the Third Temple on the site. Some Evangelicals have gone so far as to donate to the Temple Mount Institute. Again because the Third Temple is predicted in the prophetic forecasts and is a key place during the Tribulation.
Herein lies where Evangelicals are illogical, inconsistent and contradictory in their end time politics. They support the nation of Israel and the building of the third Temple. But, fight against globalization, and what they have deemed as the sinister new world order.
It is illogical for Evangelicals to Embrace the Third Temple and Yet Reject Globalization
All evangelicals who understand end time prophecy know that the Antichrist during the Tribulation will seek to annihilate the Jewish nation. Zechariah 13: 8 predicts he will murder 2/3 of the Jewish population. We know the Antichrist will place what the Bible refers to as the Image of the Beast in the Third Temple. Jesus Himself sites the event as the abomination of desolation and tells the Jews at the time to flee as fast as they can when they see this take place. They are not even to so much as pick up their jackets. The horrific abomination of desolation occurs in the Third Temple and divides the Tribulation from the Great Tribulation.. We know from several passages that Jerusalem will come under siege.
Yet again, Evangelicals support the moving of the US embassy to Jerusalem and view this positively and support it because of Jerusalem’s role in end time Prophecy. They know full well the horrors that will befall the nation of Israel at that time. But, Evangelicals fight against Globalization and any group that supports it. Their reason is because it ushers in the Revived Roman Empire and political seat of the Antichrist. Not to mention the Antichrist will institute the Mark of the Beast worldwide. So the Third Temple gets a thumbs up and Globalization a thumbs down. None of this makes sense. This is contradictory, inconsistent and illogical.
We should support all Bible Prophecy that is unfolding and coming to pass minus supporting the immorality, which violate God’s laws for our personal lives.
Some Corrections Regarding Globalization
Evangelicals view globalization as a recent development occurring through a sinister group of powerful men that the US media dubs “the elite.”On the contrary globalization is a process that has been evolving in World Politics since the French Revolution. Do you think that end time politics has come on only in the last 50 years? In the early 1920’s the ideas for world federalism were birthed. World Federalism and the Pan European movement began in 1923 with the publishing of Count Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi’s manifesto Paneuropa. We see at the formation of the European Union, several other politicians initiating ideas similar to the Paneuropa’s and the Federalists. This was no doubt the hand of God guiding the thoughts of these men.
The Nation State
The peace of Westphalia , a series of peace treaties finalized in 1648 ended the 30 years war-European wars of religion. It also ushered in a new system of political order based upon the concept of coexisting sovereign states. This became knowns as Westphalian sovereignty. A balance of power held in check inter state aggression. The new norm ended interference in another state’s domestic affairs. Westphalian principles and the concept of sovereign states became central to International Law and prevailing geopolitical order.
Afterwards the formation of Nation States rapidly accelerated. In the 1800’s and 1900’s they peaked.. This trend lent to the formation of the State of Israel in 1948, a key development in end time Bible Prophecy. Thus the 30 day war and the resulting treaties acted as the unfolding of Bible Prophecy.
Developments in Globalization
While the Nation State formation peaked after the first world war so also began the ideological movements for world government. In step with these emerged the formation of the European Union. Thus started the beginnings of regional trade groups. These groups ensured economic prosperity in their respective country. In addition, the world impacted by the industrial age, grew smaller and more united The advent of the information age added more threads to the evolving globalized world.
Age of Empires
Another geopolitical development the rise of the BRICS nations or empires, took the world from George Bush’s New World Order to an Age of Empires. This perfectly fits the predictions of the Prophet Daniel, that the last age would be an empire age. Thus we see globalization fulfilling and or unfolding the predictions of end time Bible Prophecy. Evangelicals and conspiracy theorists site sinister leaders as responsible. While men in high places take their part in governmental decisions and moving history forward , it all falls within God’s will. It is ultimately God who raises up kings. According to Daniel 2: 21 He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; Thus the age of globalization and age of empires is all part of God’s will and plan that will culminate in the Antichrist’s empire.
Steve Bannon and His Anti Globalist Message
It is horrifying that some Evangelicals have embraced Steve Bannon and Briebart News and his anti globalist message. Bannon is on a quest to tear down the EU and put a stop to globalization. No Evangelical, especially those who follow end time Bible Prophecy should support his endeavors. The prophetic word is being fulfilled through globalization.

Steve Bannon’s views are black and white. There is no in between. Globalists are bad. All media except his are globalist. He shoots down some highly respected and viable new’s sources. He is a nationalist who views the media as the arm of the globalists. Steve Bannon learned about the European Union from hanging out with Nigel Farage the man responsible for Brexit. Steve Bannon is not an Evangelical but enlists them for his aims. He is typical of someone in the US media with his overuse of the term elites.
Evangelicals Embrace Bannon Because He is Anti-Globalist
Many evangelicals embrace Steve Bannon because he is anti globalist. As if this is the position they should take because of the end time predictions. Evangelicals who adopt this view and support these views, are trying to put a stop to the fulfillment of the prophetic word! They should instead be rejoicing that the signs are unfolding and be happy to see them unfold. Instead of trying to stop God’s plan.
Globalization is not reversible
Steve Bannon and his quest to restore the nation state and stop globalization is going to fail. Globalization is not reversable. Bannon also does not have an accurate view of the European Union. The EU currently is too powerful to go in reverse. It is a giant that is not yet punching up to its weight. One of the reasons that globalization is not reversable is because of economic prosperity. A chief motivator for regional trade groups of nations is the economic growth that result for the participating nations. Many countries have come too far than to go back to isolation.
US Tariffs and Isolationism Will Bring Down the US
Steve Bannon had great influence over President Donald Trump who was new to the international scene. It is too late to isolate and pull back from globalization. This will be to the detriment of the United States. It will most likely bring the decline that we know in Bible Prophecy is going to occur. You cannot change the current world system. Both, Bannon and Trump have underestimated its strength and its role. Trump should have been advised to pursue his policies through putting his stamp on TTIP and concluding the agreement. In addition to amending NAFTA, not desiring to pull out of it. But, Trump because of Bannon has become a major catalyst for bringing about the unfolding of Bible Prophecy. He will single handedly cause the EU to become more unified and powerful.
NAFTA was more than just a trade pact
NAFTA Helped Keep the US in Step with the formation around the world of other regional groupings, mainly the European Union. As countries prospered by their participation in a regional group that eliminated trade barriers, the US needed to keep up with its allies for its economy to grow strong.
The hand of God is on the side of the globalists.
God’s hand is on the side of the globalists that the world of prophecy might be fulfilled. That’s right, for His purpose and the fulfillment of His word! Revelation 17:17 states of the ten king Antichrist federation:
17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
The ten kings give over their sovereignty. It is God Himself who guides them within their political structure. Notice the phrase “until the words of God are fulfilled.”
In addition, that verse summarizes the relationship between the EU Commission and the Council which comprises of the Prime Ministers and Presidents of the member nations. It mirrors articles within the treaty of Rome.
So What Then Should be Our View as Evangelicals?
Rejoicing and witnessing to the fulfillment of the Word of Prophecy. It is God’s will that the Scriptures be fulfilled.
We read many time in Scripture at the fulfillment of a prophecy the following phrases.
“that it might be fulfilled”
Till all these things be fulfilled,
then shall the Scripture be fulfilled,
Then was fulfilled,
the Scriptures must be fulfilled,
that all things which are written may be fulfilled,
this scripture fulfilled in your ears,
until the time of the Gentiles be fulfilled,
till all be fulfilled.
In several verses are references to the prophets with the phrase that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled. Ezra 1:1 or of Isaiah’s words in John 12:38:
That the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, :Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
John 15:25 states But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, They hated Me without a cause.
So our view is to the fulfillment of the word, while also taking a stand against immorality and sin.
The Prophet Daniel Provides an Example
Nebuchadnezzar was a feared and brutal king. He was ready to murder all of his wise men for not being able to tell him his impossible request of what he dreamed and its interpretation. He murdered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes and then blinded and bound him and put him in prison until the day of his death. Nebuchadnezzar roasted the false prophets in a fire. He took Israel captive. Nebuchadnezzar is a forerunner to the Antichrist. His kingdom is represented as one of the heads on the Beast of Revelation. Nebuchadnezzar also took a blasphemous, which is mentioned in the book of Revelation as one of the names of blasphemy on the Beast of Revelation. Nebuchadnezzar’s was ‘son of God’. Despite all of this Daniel stated to Nebuchadnezzar”
Daniel 2:37
37 You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory;
In addition Daniel faithfully served in his kingdom.
In Conclusion
Daniel’s view was for God’s will and he realized that God establishes kingdoms good or bad. Yet we also see Daniel not conforming when it meant violating God’s commandments. The prophet Daniel is our example.
